Miss BC

I was blessed with the opportunity to participate in the Miss BC Pageant in 2013 right as I was entering my freshman year in business school at UBC. This pageant completely changed my outlook of where I wanted to drive my career in the upcoming years, with a goal to use a business mindset to solve issues for children in unsafe circumstances. From this, I have volunteered in Nicaragua (2015) and worked in a NGO in Peru (2016). These have been my most cherished memories and I plan to continue following this passion after graduating this upcoming year!

My experience with Miss BC was quite uncommon. I was the last registered contestant, registering merely 2 weeks before the pageant with absolutely no pageant experience. My goal was merely to learn as much as possible, and this determination not only led to me the Miss Teen BC crown, but taught me the biggest lesson in life: life is a journey that only thrives with a lust for learning.

The reigning year was filled with volunteer events that took place all over the lower mainland, and instilled in me a heart of service for my community. Through these experiences, I strive to continue serving my community. This includes my school, a new country, my church, or even my family.
