Receiving my title as Miss Teen Greater Vancouver was one of the best blessings I could’ve ever asked for. When I first joined the pageant, I hoped to gain a few things from the pageant weekend, but I would never have thought I would win anything.
Through the whole experience, I have learned so many things that I can only thank the many friends I’ve met, and my 16 new sisters for. Because of the Miss BC Pageant, so many doors and opportunities have opened up, like helping at various charity events, such as, The Donut Dash, the Champion of the Crescent SUP Race for the Surrey Memorial Hospital Fundraiser, Ronald McDonald House, and my appearance at the Torchlight Parade.
Every moment since that weekend, as Miss Teen Greater Vancouver, or not, I am stronger, more confident, more appreciative and so incredibly grateful for all my blessings. I am so proud of myself and my sisters, and for all our accomplishments that came with our crowns. As my reign comes to an end, I will never forget this amazing year and I will continue to help everyone and make my positive contribution to the world.
